Sometimes I doodle.
Sometimes I get more creative.
And sometimes I pour my heart out.
Whichever path I take depends on what needs to get out of me and how badly I need to connect with the blank page before me. Sometimes it’s pretty, sometimes it’s not…which is very reflective of life I guess. But seeing things deconstructed in ink makes whatever feels “too big” feel much smaller and approachable. It helps me get through some of the messy feelings I was never taught how to deal with.
