It all depends. Like when I saw a man at Walmart wearing a T-Shirt that had lettering on it about training dogs to rabbit hunt to help fight Autism, and I asked him about how that all works. He was very informative about the charity to raise money to fight Autism by training dogs to rabbit hunt and hosting events and auctions to raise money/awareness to fight autism, that he had an autistic child himself and is how he got involved. I asked for a contact to donate old hunting items in great shape to the auction, and he put me in contact with the event organizer right then and there.
All good, but then he went on to tell me how he was too disabled to help or get involved any longer and went on and on about his health and disability and so on and so forth. I had to cut him off and excuse myself because it was getting mind numbing over the poor "Oh Woe is ME"!
So, it all depends upon the person and content of the conversation before I can enjoy or run away screaming what the "F"!

@WillaKissing Yeah I had a customer I had to do that. She was going into detail about how she had a medical problem and was bleeding out. She used that term “ bleeding out “ so many times that I got weirded out by her. Every time she came into the store she would start up with me again and I finally learned to greet other customers and turn my back to her. She had a mental problem.

@cherokeepatti Yes, the same with this guy but it was more like he had a captive audience for his own woes...
I was like dude I only wanted to know about the hunting and autism thing because in my mind they did not mix well together. Wow! Was my response when I turned and walked away.
I edited the story to read better too, sometimes my thoughts just poor out and I forget to proofread. LOL.
I always love your posts and replies too Miss Patty! Bless you on your treatments as well.

@WillaKissing Thank you. I feel pretty good most of the time, better than I anticipated. No bad side effects from the chemo either, 70% have nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. My hair is falling out though. Oh well, it’s only hair. I’ve dealt with that before. I had early morning chemo today and got home about 11:30. Feeling a bit lazy from it, and taking it easy today. Will put some chicken etc in the Crock Pot for dinner. And catch up on chores tomorrow. It’s raining today and a good day to stay inside.
That woman knew she had a captive audience because I had to stand there all shift and greet people. Couldn’t walk away but I did the next best thing and turned away and kept eye contact with other customers.
