How do you feel about men who claim to be trans in womens dressing rooms at the gym??

First off any male can dress up and say they are a trans and have admittance to a female locker room just to oogle or more. A easy set up for rape.

If you got male sexually equipment you shouldn't be in a female locker room. Heck taking it a bit further one shouldn't be allowed to play and sport against females - males have more muscle fiber even those who don't have visible muscles.

Women in Scotland I believe it is are quitting the soccer team because the trans are physically stronger than they are and dominating.
@SDavis what is it with locker rooms and bathrooms that so many people associate that with rape? What makes you all think that men desperate enough to commit a crime that could land them in prison for decades or life, were eagerly awaiting a loophole to legally bypass a door sign to commit that crime in a space where it is equally illegal and punishable as any place that doesn't have a door sign at all?

@NerdyPotato do you live in this world ??

Every 68 seconds a rape takes place in this country alone.

https://www.rainn.org/statistics/scope-problem

One of five women will be raped one of 71 men will be raped in their lifespan in this country and that's just adults, reported.

2022/400,000 women were raped in this country and that's just the adults, reported.

Men place mirrors and hidden cameras in women's locker rooms and dressing rooms ___ what world do you live in I ask again? Men have exposed themselves masturbating in women's restrooms ___ men have hidden in toilet components looking under the divider at a woman.….... Rapes by location not available.

Then I'm quite sure you know this whatever your identity is.

@SDavis I'm not disputing that rape is common and problematic. I'm only asking what you all believe gendered door signs do to prevent it. Almost every bathroom is still gender specific or single stall, and someone is raped every 68 seconds regardless. Sounds to me like those door signs don't keep people safe anyway. 🤷

@NerdyPotato I don't see how you can miss the point - trans having unlimited access to the female areas, just makes it easier for those straight males who want to misuse a female in any way.

It's just in the first stages - if it is allowed to continue it will be used by males who have those type of perversions and there are many.

A trans don't want to use the male restroom because they say they get raped and demand to use the female restroom putting them in danger. They need their own spaces marked with a T. And someone said women know trans when they see them, apparently that person doesn't know anything about acting, pretense, fakeness, and the majority of people can act - some better than others -just not all have been discovered or will be discovered - Hollywood.

@SDavis I'll agree that would make marching into any room a tiny bit easier, but I just don't see it making a major difference. Admittedly I don't understand what drives people to commit crimes that can land them in prison for life under any circumstances, but even then I just don't see how washing your hands next to a woman in a bathroom is any greater motivation to throw away your life than picking up a pack of cheese next to a woman in a supermarket.

Considering how controversial this is, there has to be a reason that mixed gender sinks are so much scarier than mixed gender buses, cinemas and parks. What reason is that? That's my only very simple question.
@SDavis just after posting this, I saw a video on this topic and have to stand corrected. Just this week, a man was arrested for forcing himself on a child in a bathroom so apparently that does indeed happen. I'm sorry for doubting that...

Ok, it was a women's bathroom, not a unisex one. And the guy didn't dress up as a women or pretend to belong there in any way, shape or form. It also took the analysis of 9159 sex crimes involving children to find one that happened in a bathroom. But fair is fair: abuse does happen in bathrooms too.

@NerdyPotato I've noticed the numbers you listed as if to say it's a rarity - but thank you for at least understanding that RAPE happens and restrooms and locker rooms.

But it happens more than the report - far too many abuses go unreported against women in those areas more so in parks.

And you are focused on rape - I mentioned two other things **hidden cameras and peeping under stalls.** Much of which also goes unreported.

I also said this is was the beginning with the trans using women facilities.

@NerdyPotato
And this occurs in the unisex restroom or locker room. And I did mention locker rooms in my initial reply and you seem to also omit those.
