I admit, I’m not comfortable with it. Basically, if someone who has a penis is in women’s spaces, it’s coed.

@AmbivalentFriability It’s my discomfort. But I’m 64 years old and come from a world where people with penises are male. The trans people I’ve known had surgery, and I was okay with that. Women are indeed more than our sex organs, but they (those sex organs) are a big part of our shared experience as women. 🥺

@bijouxbroussard Maybe your discomfort is not the priority. It is not the fault of trans people that the gender binary has been so brutally enforced through colonization.

@AmbivalentFriability I understand; my comfort level is a priority to me, and I’m only speaking for myself, based upon my life experiences.
It may come to a point where everything becomes coed and there are no longer observed gender differences of any kind.
But it will take some getting used to.
