"If you don't want that people misuse your goodness, then you should not be afraid their bad opinion about you"

Do you agree with this?
ArtieKat · M
Does that actually mean anything in English?

@ArtieKat Why not?

@Queendragonfly You only have to read the garbage here, with no punctuation etc .
"If you don't want that people misuse your goodness, then you should not be afraid their bad opinion about you"
. Simple English: "If you don't want people to take advantage of you, you needn't worry about their opinion of you". Isn't that clearer to you?

@ArtieKat Ah you are refering to OP and they're American or British?

Maybe they had a great teacher they just didn't care

Yes, you have to be assertive, stand up for yourself and negotiate for what you want. Dont aim to be nice or a people pleaser. But if you have to, be selfish for a while to build up enough power that you can really help people.

yes, if someone doesn't like you, it's very good sign you shouldn't want them to like you. wanting everyone to like you is inviting trouble into your life.
What about my bad opinions of them?

If you don't want people to misuse you then block their number 😅
Yes, if I’m understanding the post, I definitely agree. If you don’t want people to take advantage of you, you have to occasionally say "no". Even if it means you’re less popular.
