Does it matter to you when people add you to their friends and then unfriend you?

I dont care enough to even notice if they do that

i always assume they're "cleaning house", i.e. getting rid of people they don't actually interact with on a level they find fulfilling. obviously i don't fit that bill! what a relief to know i'm not being held to the standard anymore

It might as well be their wish to keep their circle narrow to those they actually interact with. I've removed a few over the time when it made no sense for me to call us friends, or staying in each other circles. It's not a sign of punishment or displeasure from my side, and they're free to keep following me or remove from their list of people they follow. However, I am also not just adding anyone who adds me. I like my circle to be narrow.

Not at all......your true friends are always stalwart. These other fickle impostors are just people constantly looking for a better deal.....
I wish them well, they are restless souls who never find their way IMO.

Now I think, they have freed up some space in my mind that they used to occupy. It's time to use it for better purposes.

I'd probably have disconnected the follow before they can do it themselves but I don't think it'd bother me. it might annoy me as a way of creating noise at me.... which seems like it might be the main goal of doing something like that if I think about it.

I think it would do; not too many have taken the first step in my case. I'd never do it. I think some have a perverse sadistic streak that can lead them to enjoy playing stupid games.

I have done this to a coworker. I added her on my social media out of pressure because she'd keep resending request thinking that I haven't seen it. But later I decided I'm not comfortable with her being so intimate with my life so I unfriended her.

Nah, it has happened to me many times for some reason they decide to take me off. I don’t really like it though so I stopped adding people. I used to add people when I thought they seemed cool but it doesn’t work out that way. I don’t tolerate drama anymore so I keep my distance. Once I added someone and they ended up blocking me for no reason so I don’t dare humiliate myself that way anymore.

Also, I hope you don’t remove me from your list but if you do that’s fine. Haha
