I Am Easily Amused

I tie my shoelaces and walk the dog. Ten minutes later, the laces are coming undone and I have to re-tie them. I put my MP3 player and earbuds carefully in my pocket. Ten minutes later when I come to use the damn thing, the earbud lead has formed itself into a knot that would restrain a large and angry bull elephant. Yet another of life's great mysteries...

In a previous post, I wondered why you are not allowed to flush toilet paper down the loo in Greece (Santorini in this case) but it's fine to flush large quantities of No2s!

Seriously? Then how does one get rid of them?

That is what I cannot understand. You can flush excrement down the toilet but when you wipe, you must put the dirty paper in a pedal bin and empty it before it gets too full. Strange...
