You ever go to a supermarket and you always often hear a child crying

And a mother just ignoring them.
Gusman · 61-69, M
One of my pet hates.
Parents ignoring their children. Sometimes I hear children trying to get their mother's attention and are completely ignored.
My friend from years ago got married, had children and the mother would ignore her children so much.
Many times a child would be sitting in the corner loudly crying and the mother would ignore the child and let it cry itself to sleep. Made me so angry, but their business, not my place to say anything. This was over 30 years ago, today? I would definitely say something.
But I never put myself in situations like that these days. Find it best to avoid people.
Yes. There’s a point when a person just needs to get their shopping done even if their child has decided they are done for the day. It’s hard for little kids to put up with boring errands. It’s also hard for those mothers who have to get these errands done while taking care of their children. And sometimes, kids just will not accept comfort; they want to be done.

Yes ..
Or smacking them which is even worse

I used to.. And I expect the problem will return now that Covid is less of an issue. Simply because I couldnt manage glasses, hearing aids and a mask all at once. So I used to shop alone and very early, without hearing aids.. Now I shop later to take my wife out for coffee, and no mask instead. So I expect I will hear the little blighters again..😷

{@choodles] yes have seen this scenario and not being a parent it is hard to judge . maybe by just ignoring there tears and tantrums is better than losing it and end up bawling at them esculating the situation
