What happened to you?

What happened to you?
What happened to your passion?
What happened to your passion to learn things?
What happened to your understanding?
What happened to your kindness?
you’re a new person, a fake person, I don’t even recognize you anymore.
You have changed, and not in a good way.
You have lost your excitement and that’s bad.
I knew you, you had that sparkling in your eyes. But now, every time i look at you, i just see nothing in you. Just pure tiredness, a person who gave up. You weren’t like that, never. Remember why you named yourself alvida? Because you knew, you could come over every issue in your life, that will ever occur. That’s what that name meant to you. Now, it’s just a username, you don’t even recognize it anymore. Do even play piano anymore? Do you have passion for violin? You’ve lost yourself…
Where are you, wheres your soul? Your values, your priorities and principles seem to be gone now. You are not the person i knew earlier. she was more consistent than you. she knew what she wanted, and always worked for it.

So whoever this person is, you're berating them for being depressed?

@LordShadowfire It is a teenager, they are quite self obsessed at that age.

@LordShadowfire it sounds like it’s written in the third person. Like it was an internal struggle between essence and physicality
@LordShadowfire it’s me. I am angry for myself to change in a way that is making me suffer.
@userfawkes1105 exactly.

@playingmybeautifulviolin Well, I'm going to ask you a question, and this is not coming from a place of anything but concern. If you talked to somebody else who was depressed the way you're talking to yourself, would it help? Would it help that person through their depression? Honestly?

Here's an exercise you can try. Get a plushie of some kind, and pretend it is going through the same things psychologically that you are. Talk to the plushie as if it is alive, and tell it how you feel about it going through such a rough time, and tell it how much you care about it.

Then apply that to yourself.
@LordShadowfire thank you for this suggestion. I will try it. And also, this made realize, that im being really harsh on myself. Thank you ❤‍🩹
