If I'm not mistaken, there's also no word in English for gradual exposure to cold mainly for health benefits but also for better tolerance to cold, whether it's air or water. Cold plunge only applies to water, not like when people deliberately go out in light clothes in cold weather.

@GuyWithOpinions Yup, both I think. I've never heard any English word that would describe something like this.
