Isnt every country a dictatorship?

It doesnt really matter weather we vote or not, if its fascism communism or democracy, theyre all the same in the fact that one man is at the top of the pyramid in control of millions of people. Just in democracy they get to swindle you into liking them for a short bit. Or just hating someone more than them.

We still cling to the archaic structures that havent evolved much since the imperial era.

Switzerland is the only non dictatorship trying to run democracy and apparently it takes them forever to make decisions.

Maybe our current forms of government have become outdated? The justice systems definitely need an over haul. You can still win court cases based on eye witness testimonies. police forces aren't properly selected and trained either.

The people have always been the power but we are born into societies where we believe we have to give it away and we are powerless to it.

If every single person stopped paying taxes and the soldiers just didnt follow orders that one man at the top would just be one man.

Were born into a society where if you dont follow theyre grind you dont get food or shelter. Why do we support that? Because we have to? Because its who we are?

What is the value of national identity?

This is the least educated thing I have ever (EVER) heard. The crazy idea of anarchy is as old as mankind on this planet. Why don't you declare yourself a sovereign citizen, stake out a plot of land for yourself and go off-grid to try to sustain yourself without any services, protections, or social conveniences?

You can file monthly progress reports, and I predict like the peeps here who claim they are leaving because they are unhappy with the terms of use, the reactions they get or don't get, or like you, just general apathy, they quickly come running back. That is if you have the guts to even try what you are suggesting for the rest of us.

Maybe it's just time for you to grow up.

@MarkPaul 🤭 im not sure what your talking about. Maybe your comparing me to some group in your area?

Im just questioning how things are. I made some posts of therioes of how i think we could try to change somethings like 6 months ago if your looking for somthing educational but its still just opened ended ideas i came up with.

@GuyWithOpinions I have no idea what your complaint is. If you are claiming these are "your" ideas of how to change things, you better look to your left and your right so you can acknowledge that your ideas belong to others across the ages. Your so-called "theory" of not paying taxes, etc. might be unique for the group you hang out with but if so, that group is holding you back.

Again, grow up and learn how to become a responsible adult. It is difficult and daunting at first but with practise, you will get the hang of it.

@GuyWithOpinions Come on dude... this makes no sense:

"What if we voted for an ideology to follow for a 4 year term rather than an individual politician?"

An ideology can't exist without it being attached to a politician because an ideology is not self-executing. I have no idea what you are trying to do with this.

@MarkPaul it then becomes attached to the group of people associated to that ideology rather than a single individual.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@GuyWithOpinions Yes, and so you are offering the example not to pay taxes to teach society a lesson by taking away its power. So, with decaying social infrastructure, in your mind you think that lesson is going to transition into a commune of love.

You must be surrounding yourself with those crazy American cults that encourage people to give up all their worldly possessions for the common good where the members usually end up dead with questionable smiles on their faces and bad haircuts.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@GuyWithOpinions Um... that's called politics. A political group forms around an ideology like: limited government, or big government, or anti-immigration, or fiscal discipline, or environmental moderation, etc. That ideology becomes the centre around which people gather. See now...?
GuyWithOpinions · 31-35, M
@MarkPaul you didnt read the thing. Thats ok. You dont have to understand what i meant by that it was just an idea that i shot off on the internet when i was thinking about it.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@GuyWithOpinions I did read "the thing." The whole thing. That's the problem... it's just top-of-mind BS you are throwing out (and up) and pretending it is theories and deep thought.
GuyWithOpinions · 31-35, M
@MarkPaul welp thats your opinion i guess 🤷
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@GuyWithOpinions No, I'm not some guy with opinions. I deal in logic, good hard reasoning, and facts.

@MarkPaul Don't make me laugh! YOU are telling someone to grow up? That is the funniest thing I've heard in a long time!
