No it doesn't. Is white not a colour?
it implies that a person's 'colour', or skin tone, is something that has been added to them. For example, a strawberry is just red, but red velvet cake has been coloured red (that’s why it’s more exciting than a Victoria sponge). A person who is not white has not coloured their skin. We shouldn’t use the term coloured in the same way we wouldn’t refer to a white person as bleached. It suggests white is the default. Language goes a long way.
Not to mention, how coloured has a history of segregation, in the US, UK and South Africa. I don't know why people try so hard to erase history. It gives us meaning to the language we have now and how it's evolved over time. There's still people living that experienced this, I see no honour in pretending it wasn't a thing.

@HijabaDabbaDoo Probably because Christ is king and he always loves colored people. He loves white folks too. I might be wrong but he usually doesn't care if we say colored. I know this from experience a long time ago before racism existed.
