They should teach balance a bank account, how interest on credit card works, savings and investment interest with dividends, home mortgage and auto loans, Probably Rates on the Lottery. And basically taxes class.

when i was in school home economics were taught and in math classes we ere tough the value of saving and how to balance a check book and list bills to pay
