I just read an article saying single women are way happier than married women. Once women get married their happiness greatly declines because they

Wind up doing all the work in the relationship and feel like slaves. This was written by divorced women who are enjoying single life. Any thoughts or opinions?

Eh, think single women have their own obstacles and sleepless nights filled with worries where their happiness comes into question. Being free to live life as you see fit can actually be quite lonely some nights at 3am. And I think many women who enter marriage end up feeling like a slave to the role of wife because they lose sight of who they are…and possibly who they still aspire to be. A lot of attention could be placed on their partner’s happiness instead of maintaining and pursuing their own. Really don’t think happiness reigns in one category versus another. I think it’s specific to each individual depending on their own definition of what happiness is.
