I have only once, really in return. I guess it might give window to others about a person, but I'm one who generally feels people find this out together no matter what.... Though, if I were to give you an attribute, I would call you kind.

I have used them very rarely, and not recently.
I feel self-conscious doing that, to be honest. If I am going to compliment someone, I prefer to do it as part of a conversation in PM.

Not often. I think people forget about them because they are a few clicks away from whatever they're doing. Whereas gestures like the hearts and smiles fall more easily to hand.
Yeah…I really never understood what whiteboards are for…😅

@DeWayfarer I didn't realize that. I just thought I was leaving a message that they have a choice of either leaving up or going to the trouble of deleting. If even the negative attributes give them a more positive reputation, that's a stupid way of doing business.
