Do people in other countries complain all the time? I live in the U.S. and people just seem to whine and complain about just about everything almost.

I work retail so I might notice it more than the typical American would. I'm just wondering if complaining about everything is just an American trait or is true of people in general.

I think the more developed the country, the more whining and blaming takes place. In the U.S. it's become a true driver of our politics and society. And it's only getting worse. Since most Americans don't travel there's no context for how others live. And they don't care. But what really gets me is that the whiners and blamers who need enemies are whining about the wrong enemies. They support the very people who screw them them most but go after those already disenfranchised and struggling. The lowest hanging fruit. Hate and fear is the lane of way, way too many Americans.
