I'm a curious person.

Anyone on here have experience on playing a Theremin, and was/is it hard to get good at?

You have nothing to hold on to, which is why in order to keep a sound up, you need your hands to be absolutely motionless, but then again change to another position in order to change the sound. Can be tiring.

@scooogy Tiring...to wiggle your fingers around?
It takes much less physical effort than any other instrument I can think of.

@dubkebab the size of the Theremin. In The Big Bang Theory, S4E12, Sheldon uses one in such a size that he has to move his arms in order to play the Star Trek theme song:

@scooogy Nope,no big difference.His stable right hand controls the volume while the left goes towards changing the pitch of the tone.
I've played the huge vintage cabinet models and own a smaller one,it takes less physical effort than typing this.
