What was your funny childhood fear?

Shadows of plants and trees at night.. When the leaves moves by wind, i thought it were some creepy monsters. Hiding in blankets saved me from those monsters. 😅

Vomiting.

Boogie man under the bed. I ended up being given a flashlight so I could check under there before I went to sleep.

The sound of the toilet flushing at night. I’d flush, then run back to my room fast before something bad happened. Because something bad was sure to happen. 🤭

That my uncle would cut off my tongue 🤦‍♀️😆 He was joking about it but I took him seriously and marked him in my head as "the man who wanted to cut off my tongue". 😆 I was also wary about my grandma's brother as he's always been eccentric so in my little head he was a fool that I didn't know what to expect from. 😅

In the Disney movie "The Great Mouse Detective" there's an evil bat which in one scene suddenly shows up in the dark, which made me fear something like that bat showing up next to my bed and thus only sleep facing the wall.

That there was a skeleton under my bed waiting to grab my legs if I got too close. I ran and jumped into it for a good month or two before the fear finally abated.

Praying Mantis. I saw a huge one and could not get in the house because i was afraid to step over it. I hate those things to this day

At night when I'd look at the window and couldn't see nuthin on the other side...I figured there was a monster right there!

Water but on computer games..
