I am having childhood memories coming back , explaining things to me

@Allelse mostly negative experiences that I didn't think of negative until revisiting them now..

@being At the time things can seem totally normal because it's all you know, then you give it 2 decades and you go holy crap!!! So that's why I'm messed up!!!

@Allelse Can't wait for the opposite, where I will begin seeing all the beauty I've been ignoring 🤗

@being I had a nice grandmother so I can look at her and be like ahhh, so maybe that's where I get my empathy from. But I dunno.

@Allelse you know after all it doesn't take that much. A good figure in ones life's enough to ground all the goodness needed..

@being That's true and she was really special and she is one of the few people who actually had nice things to say about me as a kid. About how I was always such a happy and helpful child, instead of "You were always so sick all the time and noisy and in trouble at school and we wanted somebody like your sister, quiet and healthy but we got you instead and your father got so much worst after you were born".
