Do you have enough IQ and EQ to understand your bf at 25?
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
I think at 25 I would have had enough emotional intelligence to take it well and definitely be able to empathize with my boyfriend and be supportive

@Jenny1234 Thank you. I hope you remember well how you were at 25 😅
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
@SW-User I do remember very well. But my entire life I have always been very empathetic to people and situations. I was 27 (not much older than 25) when I got married and my husband told me about the horrible childhood he lived through and I was very supportive

I'm not even 25 yet but I know emotional intelligence can be developed far younger but it's also an individual experience thing and not so much an age thing.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
In all honesty, if it happened to me at that age, all I would have had to offer would have been useless pity but no reasonable solution for his unresolved trauma.
Spica · 31-35, F
It's not an age thing. I was emotionally supporting my friends who had it rough when I was little— as young as 8 years old.
FurryFace · 61-69, M
i wasn't sexually mature until way later in life like 45 +

[c=4C0073]it's not the age, and it highly depends on the individual, .. this question cannot be answered without being some sort of prophet with divine powers[/c]

@SW-User Thank you Miss

When I was 25 I was probably too busy dealing with my own bad childhood to be able to support anyone else, as much as I may have wanted to.
SW-User
@Fluffybull And you knew that all the depression was arising out of your childhood or you were still searching what was wrong with you.
Fluffybull · F
@SW-User It took a few sessions with a counsellor (free on NHS through my doctor) years later to realise that.

{@trotskyaxn] 🤔 the thing that puzzles me is do you need too tell your girlfriend this. do you need too bare your soul and get this off your chest
SW-User
@smiler2012 Maybe you would need that.
