Laziness is a Puritanical concept that was eagerly absorbed by Capitalism to make people feel guilty for enjoying life and not being productive.
"The word “lazy” first became popular in the 16th century when the Puritans came to the United States. The idea stemmed from their religious beliefs, which revolved around the notion that those who couldn’t work hard and focus on their tasks were damned to go to Hell when they died and were unable to receive the salvation of God. As such, with the rise of the slave trade in the United States, these Puritanical religious ideals were pushed onto enslaved people to justify their brutal treatment and their use as free labor, as they promised them religious salvation and rewards in the afterlife. Thus, the use of laziness as a justification for slavery began."

We are not created to be productive 24/7. Our body requires downtime, however that looks for you.
Being called "lazy" is an act of oppression. That your life has no meaning unless you are toiling for merit. It is telling you that you have no value unless you are working, even when work time is over.
This idea of laziness has become so saturated into the American existence, it has created hate for the poor. Hate for those who only work the job description and no other tasks. Hate for those who don't work overtime. Hate for those who physically cannot work.
All the idea of laziness has contributed to the American life is hate and oppression.
You aren't lazy. Your need to rest however that looks for you is not being lazy. Your value is not based on how little or much you work. Anyone judging you by calling you "lazy" is just spreading a form of hate they aren't aware of.
Enjoy your time. It is limited on earth and should never be used entirely for working.

It's people who are lazy on the job that I have a problem with. They are paid for doing nothing while someone else has to pick up the slack. But yes relaxing is a good thing
@Cloud7593 Are they lazy, or have they figured out how to manipulate situations and things to get other people to do their work?
Also, the fact that people do the work instead of letting the guy who's figured out how to manipulate things for their benefit take the fall means they won't stop because there's no repercussions.
Maybe people should stop doing that work and move on. If asked why it wasn't done, you can simply say that wasn't assigned to me. 🤷♀
We have ways to remove ourselves from people who are coasting, but we don't. Also, the person isn't lazy. They're quite skilled at getting other people to do their work. They are managment material.
