If Mary had Jesus and Jesus is the lamb of god

Then Mary had a little lamb.

I'll always remember this now

I just googled the history of the rhyme. I could see Christian parallels the lambs fleece being white as snow/clean and free from sin and God is with us everywhere but the proper history is nice too.

In 1815, a nine-year-old girl named Mary Elizabeth Sawyer nursed a sick, abandoned newborn lamb back to health on her family farm. The devoted lamb followed Mary everywhere, including one day to her one-room schoolhouse in Sterling, Massachusetts. The animal caused a commotion inside the classroom, so the teacher put it outside to wait patiently for Mary until lunchtime. An older student named John Roulstone witnessed the event and was so inspired that he wrote the first three stanzas of the poem and handed them to Mary the next day.

Jesus carried the blood of his Father! 😌
@Pfuzylogic I've never said that belief is a matter of choice. However, belief can be changed when evidence is presented. I would assume that if God wants me to believe in him, he would be able to present evidence that I would find compelling. His failure to do so suggests that he either doesn't exist, or doesn't care if I believe in him or not.

@LeopoldBloom God allowed his only Son to be humiliated in front of the world. Even though Jesus was and still is the King of Kings. He remained without sin until he accepted sin in our place. Everyone has the freedom to accept or reject God’s Word.
@Pfuzylogic I can't accept that because I see no evidence for it. I'm not rejecting it either because I don't think there is anything there to reject. It would be like me telling you that I just bought you a Ferrari and parked it in front of your house, and when you tell me you don't see anything there, I accuse you of rejecting my gift. You can't reject something you don't think exists.

Saying I'm free to accept or reject Jesus is like me saying you're free to accept or reject Islam or Hinduism or Scientology. The reality is that religious belief is not subject to free will. If you think it is, then please prove it by forcing yourself to sincerely believe in the Church of Scientology for the next five minutes.

Whos fleece was white as snow which is odd for a region of primarilly high melanated peoples
@WolfGirlwh0r3 It refers to his sinless nature.
That is the actual meaning of the rhyme.
Big lamb. No?
