My whole point from the very first comment was about religion being the problem! You interjected with two groups... Persian and Arabs. They are the same DNA!
Look at the bigger picture for a change! It's still thousands of years of religious wars! All of them together!
You are looking at one or two trees with one or two groups or religions! I'm looking at a forest of trees all ablaze over thousands of years!
It spreads like a wild fire! Sometimes revisiting old burnt ground! It jumps from religion to religion or group to group! Yet RELIGION is still the cause!
I mentioned the age of the religion simply because YOU said this was a religious war and that it was a conflict thousands of years old (it cannot be both when one of the religions is among the world's youngest).
