My car may or may not be toast.

Mom went to go to the bank while Dad and I were driving the van out to the duplex, and it conked out. We have to wait for them to do a full estimate, but the guy who got the mileage off it for her said that all the dash lights were on, which to him meant It could be the battery.

As in the electric engine.

The $8,000 engine that I cannot afford to replace that costs as much as the car itself did.

So let's have a contest, shall we? Everybody pray to whomever you believe in, and we'll see if somebody makes it so it's just a loose wire or something.

@LordShadowfire Had an ‘06 Toyota Prius. Lithium Ion battery went up in ‘14 after 165,000 miles. Cost $3500 with labor. Put another 90,000 on it until trading it in in ‘21 for a ‘20 model.
