my mom was always really great about making sure we knew shed love us no matter what we ended up being. when talking to me shed say something along the lines of "when you have a boyfriend.. OR GIRLFRIEND one day.." and i was always like 😐 yeah okay mom 😐 because i didnt wanna talk about cooties. but im really grateful for that
