Dad's dementia is really, REALLY messing things up.

So currently, we're set to go to court with the squatter who has no contract, but claims he has a verbal contract with it. We received a letter in the mail stating that he has filed for dismissal. Our attorney is not responding to emails or phone calls, so I have no fuсking clue what is going on.

So my strategy was to drive down to the property in question to talk to a different tenant who is past due on his rent, and low-key spy on the trailer situation without actually interacting with those lawyered up sһitаsses.

But no. It's my idea, so therefore it's bad.

Also, my dad keeps insisting he saw documentation saying that the judge signed off on the dismissal that was filed, but he's only seen the documentation Mom and I presented to him, and he's hallucinating the rest. Meanwhile, my blood sugar is spiking after I took my long-acting insulin, because I haven't had my fast acting insulin yet. So Dad's dealing with his own poor grasp of reality, plus my high sugar temper. And of course, he keeps doubling down and insisting that his idea is the only way to go, because I'm getting angry with him for making suggestions not based in objective reality.

Oh lord. That is a lot to deal with. I hope some of your stresses are eased soon.
