@JimboSaturn It's absurd when that happens with any politician, but I guess that proves religious fervor and political fervor are closely related. It's an interesting psychological need some have--to worship SOMETHING. I think it's ill.

To deny a man his liberty is a communist and Fascist trait. The reason we are called Liberals is because we believe in Liberty for all. Now that you understand this, which of the two parties denies men their liberty?
@calicuz oh ok, I see the problem, most of you aren't what you claim to be. Most of you people calling yourselves liberals are really just collectivists and authoritarians.
@calicuz Denying liberties technically is only a trait of fascism. Communism just like liberalism are mostly focused on economic policies: as you day there's definitely plenty of examples of authoritarian/illiberal communism, but you can also perfectly have democratic, "leftwing libertarian" communism too (rather at least on paper communism supports democracy, so this second form should be the default one.. the problem lies between theory and practice)
Similarly, you can have an "evil" form of liberalism that is in favor of liberal economic policies but against personal liberties, and it wouldn't conflict with the theory of the liberal ideology. Think of like old school conservatism (Reagan and co.)
What you can't have is liberal fascism, as unlike the former two fascism is against liberties both in practice and in theory, and in fact right wing "libertarians" who vote fascist while advocating for "small government" (aka greater personal freedom for themselves) are the dumbest people on earth lol
First off, Fascism is strictly a "right wing extremist government," so there is no such thing as a liberal fascist, it just doesn't exist. Second, when it comes to American Libersls, it is about the liberty guaranteed to every American citizen.
