If any of my friends or other people have questions about ECT.

I’d talk about it. I’m not ashamed or shy about it. It is what it is. Just please try not to be cruel with your question and I’ll try to answer. Keep in mind I’m not a Dr, I’m a patient… so I may not know like technical stuff.

My answer to you is not a question but more of a statement.

Anyone that cannot understand that health issues are not just limited to a cut in the finger, a broken leg or perhaps cancer, should not give a biased reply to something they do not grasp. People are so judgmental with those that think, act, are different because their limited vision does not want to understand that there are people can also suffer from being different. This suffering does not have to be physical but is, most often, emotional.

Thus, I wish you well and that you can have your issue better under control, that it does not affect your life too much and that you teach a lesson to all those that can be mean to you because you are different.

Beauty, quality and uniqueness comes from the inside and those that criticize never see those qualities because they don't bother to look beyond the shell.
@Stephie That was really beautiful, ty.

Here’s a little about my disease, if you’d like to know. And ty again for your really kind words and very caring message. 🖤

@JustGoneNow You are quite welcome. Only the ignorant have preconceived ideas because they are afraid of reality and that they would have to change in what they have believed a lifelong.

I will have a look at the link and come back to you if I have any questions. Take care and be safe.

@JustGoneNow I had a quick look at the descriptive and my personal belief is that every single human being has been in that situation at one or another time of his/her life. Some can dismiss it easily while others, like you have to fight a lifelong with it.

I too had these moments where I believed that someone took over my mind and made me do things I did not want. To me, it felt as if I was in a bad dream and had no longer control of my body. Mine was a dream that I could escape from, yours is a nightmare that you are stuck in for prolonged periods of time.

You have my full emotional support.
@Stephie you are very kind. ty 🖤

@JustGoneNow It is not kindness, it is compassion. I am a very empathic person that can "feel" the emotional pain of people.
@Stephie it’s not all been pain. mixed in with my pain is hope too. I try to remember that. light and love. 🦋

@JustGoneNow You know, Robin Williams is mostly remembered for his funny lines and roles but the one role in my mind that he played with immense talent and conviction was "Patch Adams" from 1998 where he made me cry to tears.
@Stephie it was a wonderful film.
