Yes. I was waiting for a phone to arrive via ups. So I went Thursday to the mailbox, it's 25 miles away. It wasn't there, so I was upset, vowing to not go back till Monday or later.

But come Saturday morning, I got an nagging thought, "Maybe it's there now?" So, I gassed up and went. Nope, the phone wasn't but what WAS there was the surprise.

My application for subsidized housing was approved, so had I waited, I'd have missed out. I had my interview and now I wait. 3-6 months, but that's way faster than usual.
