When I worked in forestry that would happen to me about once or twice per season. A couple of times I went through the whole ritual, getting my gear together, packing my lunch, having breakfast, drinking coffee, all in full gear waiting for my ride. 4:30am comes rolling around and no work van... I knew I'd messed up.
