In every situation. You can’t change the circumstances always, you can’t change your emotions, you can only partially control your thoughts but you can always choose how you act.

These quotes all seem so wise, untill you live long enough and realize they are really just privileged ideals.
There are SO MANY things in life that decimate such thinking: poverty, fear, desperation, crisis, disaster, death, homelessness to name a few.

@OogieBoogie I agree with you on that. I think we both mean the same thing, just have a different way of expressing it. I mean it in the way that‘s empowering, you are responsible for your actions and can change how you act if you want. Everyone has their own struggles but you’re not powerless.
