i thought i had it all as a kid and i actually did for the most part...loving parents, good homes etc. but when i reflect back on my life i guess i could say i wanted my mother to have a happier upbringing and to have better mental health care throughout her life. not a lot was known about depression or anxiety and throughout my teenage years and into adulthood it was clear she needed help but good help was not easily found....it wasn't until much later in her life doctors figured out the right meds for her but she basically lived a nightmare for over 60 years of her life...knowing what i know now and as i reflect on things i appreciate my mom's amazing efforts in raising me until she passed 2 days prior to my 51st birthday

@beermeplease I'm sorry she went through so much, what a strong woman 🌸 She still was a wife and mom despite her anxiety. She sounds like she was a wonderful lady🌻

@Coralmist yeah...everyone liked her. she had a good heart. even though i don't know you personally you two would have hit it off....she was the type to have said to me..."beery, coral is such a nice girl, why haven't you asked her out" ...lol she has done that a few times to a couple of my lady friends over the years 🤣
