Driving to forests and camping in cabins…road trips and stopping at scenic areas and taking photos and a break. Lake of the Ozarks and other lakes or rivers with clear water…Go Browsing through small towns. I’d like to visit some Amish areas and stay awhile. Go somewhere cooler than Oklahoma during the summer. My neighbor went to Michigan in 2011 when we were having a record-setting heat spell and drought. She said it was so comfortable to be outdoors, everything was green, fresh veggies & fruits, especially cherries. There is a place around Lake Michigan that has some interesting rocks, would love to go there. There’s a diamond mine (in a field) in Arkansas that I would love to dig around in. And hunt for fossils in various places.
I like to watch You Tube videos on Peter Santanello’s You Tube channel. He goes to locations and interviews people in random places that are unknown to most of us. I would like to visit some of those areas too. He also goes into the history of the area as well. In my opinion he’s a much better journalist than the ones who work in the media.
I’d have several cocktails watching the government take half. But that’s not very fun. Ok then I’d spend a couple weeks sailing the Mediterranean with my sweetie and some friends.
