Do you feel people have gotten more selfish and self-centered?

I'm not trying to call them out, but is it really hard for people to say a simple hello now?

I speak to everyone and i dont expect anything in return. I only worry about my own standards i cannot worry about other people's rudeness. I just know that everyone deserves to be recognized.
