Why do people consider Suicide wrong? Or otherwise treat it like a sickness and bad thing. I don’t think it always is.

This isn’t a disease although most things that end in death are considered a disease or injury.
This is me standing up for what I truly want and believe , who I am.
I don’t want to play this game. Games are elective and I do not consent.
I wish I was never born, or Someone or thing should have stopped me before I reproduced. I so want to check out but can’t without my kids blessing. I truly wish they would all just say “it’s ok. You can go we’ll be fine.”

I want permission to be suicidal or better yet permission to be dead. Thanks

Maybe I’ll say I’m going on a trip…

I don't think it's about being wrong as much as it's about being selfish. If you felt that way then why even bring kids into the world? You said yourself that you wish someone would have stopped YOUR birth, but yet you brought them into the world, when YOU could have prevented theirs, hence, selfishness!

@AngelUnforgiven I understand what you mean but you’re not considering the passage of time, aging, changing…these are thoughts looking back, you know the word regret?
AngelUnforgiven · 51-55, F
@Stuffy I re-read the original post I see nothing about regret and it doesn't read to me as if it came off that way. Regardless, me personally I still see it as selfish. That's just me. How is it fair to your children to bring them into the world and then off yourself. THEY have to live with that for the rest of their lives it doesn't matter if your are 30 years old or 80 . It doesn't change anything. Your regrets should have been considered when you were only responsible for your own life. Not after you bring others into this world just to check out on them. Agon just my opinion.

@AngelUnforgiven you don’t seem to understand the concept of growth change and regret. I can’t image you’re in your fifties with that mentality. That must be fake.

I would never leave my children until I thought they were ok with it. Carry on, judge on

@Stuffy i understand completely, and there's absolutely nothing fake about me. I just dont believe in taking the coward's way out, especially if you have children. I dont care if i were in unimaginable pain for the rest of my life, i would not off myself and put my children through that heartache. Im not selfish like that. I would endure any pain for them, that's what unconditional love is, you sacrifice, not yourself! For your own selfish reasons. But for those that you love. You endure. You will never understand because you haven't suffered enough. Some people will off themselves and their whole family over a a stock market crash or a foreclosure. Some of us are just built different and we endure and we get through it! We dont lie down and die like cowards.

@AngelUnforgiven as if that makes them less grown up? How close minded can you get? But no you missed again. Many of the answers are not from suicidal people. Really. Do better
