Night shift widow

My husband has worked nights for years. Many times, if I want to go somewhere in the evening or the weekend, I have to go by myself or find someone to go with me. My friends usually have their own family obligations so I go by myself. It gets lonely.

Does he know how lonely you feel? Has he got options for different work patterns.

My wife sometimes works nights at her hospital. Sometimes she stays in nurses accommodation all week. It can be difficult.
