Any of you that carry a taser for self defense, any suggestions on what to get?

I don't carry one, but I would assume it's one that is easy to stow away, easy to get at, and easy to operate in the moment.

I looked into it but concluded it's not as useful as pepper spray for most situations

I have a knife that is perfectly legal to carry on me bc the blade is a certain length ( permitted by law )

And yeah I would use it in self defence

gun owner here. i don't recommend tasers, they require the assailant to stand still and to be in close proximity to you in order to be effective. bear spray on the other hand will create a barrier and diversion allowing you to time to escape or at least put some distance between you and the assailant.

i have to ask, do you have an aversion to fire arms?
