getting hit with a sudden panic attack while in the shower is like a whole new level of bad luck, lol. 🥲

@JRVanguard Great. I'm positively all a-quiver! (Sorry for my flippant sense of humor. No personal poke intended.)

@ffony One of my sisters had those, she's been on blood thinners for about 20 years now. Near as they can figure her problem is some rare genetic blood disorder.

I think my most inconvenient yet awkward was when practicing my guitar out in public. An elderly couple saw me, listened for like 10 seconds then left. It was my first time doing that so after I finished the song, I waited for a minute then packed up my guitar and quietly left that the scene. My panic attack began as soon as I realized they weren't interested (Or whatever). First month of learning the instrument too. Woo.

Having a panic attack is bad enough, but having one while taking a shower is straight up dangerous.
I'm not sure that there's a good place to have one, just levels of worse.
I imagine the steam from the shower didn't make it any easier to breath.

That does sound problematic. I hope you're feeling calmer now.

Omg yes. It’s absolutely horrible.
Did you run out of shampoo?
Time to grow up

I know the feels, it's horrible.
What really helped me was mindfulness based CBT.
