I put liquid bandage on an anole that one of my cats had wounded, once. After the little guy had recovered overnight in a vented container I have for small wounded creatures...he or she went out to face the big scary world again.

@Piper

?? An anole? Is that what I think it is to avoid your comment being shaded grey?

EDIT: maybe I should've googled anole...

@Piper Good for you! The green anoles around here are in constant conflict with the invasive brown anoles, so now I know how to treat the wounded warriors.

I have written four books that nobody reads.

@exexec Yes, around here too. I don't see many green anoles where I currently live, most likely because of the abundance of non-native brown ones. It was a brown anole that I attempted to 'doctor'. They are here to stay, and surely not to blame for being brought here from Cuba.

It does make me sad that they are in such conflict with native lizards, including the geckos I'm particularly fond of.

@SW-User I'd have thought "small wounded creatures" would have been a major clue, that an anole isn't what I'm guessing you thought it was. 🙃

I'm kind of a dummy... :(

@Piper Our freeze last winter cut the brown anole population a bit, but the green ones seem to have surived well.
