All I want from a phone is something that can play music at a decent volume when surrounded by noisy cars etc..

Takes half way decent pictures..

And has a long lasting battery..

Samsung's ain't nothing like they used to be. The last one I had will be the last Samsung that I will ever buy. S24 Very glitchy, very disappointing and very poor quality. Apps were always conflicting with each other. Constantly had to delete apps and then reload them. Then when I finally took it to my cell phone guru... He found all kinds of preloaded Chinese spyware on it. A lot of that could not be deleted but then he put blocks so that it couldn't send anymore personal data. 3 days later the phone bricked. I wonder just how many other phones are like this and how would you find out so you wouldn't buy another brand loaded with Chinese snoopware?

@Musicman yes it is. The worst phone I've ever had and it only lasted 4 months.

@Musicman yes I still have it but like I said, it bricked 3 days after my cell phone guru tried to block all the Chinese spyware that was not deletable. It bricked one month ago and couldn't be repaired. Now I have a Motorola Moto G. So far it seems to be 10 times the phone of the S24.

Good for you that you like your phone. 🌻
My iPhone lasted for 8 years without any issue, and I got the new one just last December.
I’m enjoying taking lots of photos and quality is good enough.
We are both satisfied customers. Period. 🍀

@Darksideinthenight2 I had 2 others in the past. The first one lasted 3 1/2 years. The 2nd last 2 years and the S24 lasted 4 months.
Like everything else... They just get junkier and junkier with each new model. I had a dollar general Alcatel and that one lasted 4 1/2 years. The battery just finally gave out. Alcatel was supposed to be a really cheap piece of garbage. It kicked all the 3 Samsung's asses.

The big name smartphones already have AI features so it’s no biggie. The upcoming advancements will just make certain features run smoother and will eliminate the need for outside apps to do things like translate conversations in real time.
