Relationship with food.

Does anyone just want to starve there-self but not to death just till they lose that pound everyone says to gain or lose? Its just that I have been trying to lose a few pounds and haven't been eating a lot just a few things like an apple or some kind of food. Now I'm failing most of my classes and just..It just sucks.
Screw what other people say. They might say gain or lose but why would I listen to people that aren't going to like me no matter what I do.

I try to starve myself. But I lack the willpower. And I can eat celery and watch my blood sugars skyrocket.
sounds like low blood sugar.
not eating will crash you blood sugar and make you feel sad even woozy.

a few years back,, i had to loose like 70 lbs or die.
I think eating a healthy balanced diet is the most sanest thing to do to lose weight. It’s not just quantity but also quality of the food you eat.
Maybe a nutritionist can help you.

Have you looked at intermittent fasting? It appears to be a safe and effective way of doing what you want to do.

@alex542 Yes. You have a dedicated eating window, say from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and then you don't eat anything at all from 5 p.m. to 9 a.m. the next morning. This is sometimes accompanied by longer fasts, a couple days or even longer. Look at some things on YouTube — there are a lot of folks who swear by it.

Another idea is to restrict your intake of carbohydrates as much as possible. That really is what has worked for me over the past few years, being semi-keto-ish.

counting calories and intermitent fasting are effective, but you gotta have some protein. you need carbs/fat/protein every day

I enjoy the exhilaration of self denial, time saved, mental clarity of not eating but its so hard for me to mentally overcome hunger and cravings. In fact right now I"m fat. And in my current medical situation I can't really fast for long periods.

Your statement bothers me. Why do you care what people say and why are you failing your classes? You don't sound in the right state of mind.
