So I tell a lot of stories about my life here

But some stories I avoid because of how people might react 😬

Like tbh I wanna tell the story about a shootout I got in that made me walk away from street shit as a whole.
But with all the gun hate here.. it makes me afraid to tell the story because I don't want people to think I'm evil 🥺 I did shoot someone... but he shot at me first & if I didn't have my gun I might've died that night.
I do think the world would be better without guns.. I do think we need to regulate them way more.

I took many classes for mine & have my license for it. Even though where I live thats not even necessary. I did that because I believe it's important. I'm very well trained to the point I can take apart any gun & put it back together no problem. Which is surprising to many people considering my background.

But since I own guns & I'm not afraid to defend myself.. I've received a lot of hate for that in the past.
I also don't side with the "pro-gun" people either. & They typically hate me as well.

I'm a weird "in the middle" type I guess. & The last time I talked about guns on here, I got my first & only blocks from that 😂 so I'm not writing this post to talk guns or argue. I won't engage in any of those comments. I'm just venting about how it sucks I can't write certain things out of fear of being judged 🤷
Which might sound funny considering how open I usually am on here 😂

Totally relatable. Well i do not own guns but i mean, the part about unable to talk about certain things here, because people are not open minded enough to see that we do not take any one side, but we are grounded in logic and what is best for ourself and those around us.

More people should open their minds and accept situations as different, for different people.
Having a "law" in our mind dealing in absolutes, is a sure way to be closed up to learning and understanding.

@ChiefWalksWith40oz 100%. Now give me BC 😆
Kidding! 😅
@SW-User done sir 🤙 I don't often give BC but I don't see why your comment wouldn't have it 🤷😅

@ChiefWalksWith40oz Aww man, thank you!! 💜 🍺

I think this site is an escape for most and for that reason I think it should be a place where you’re most comfortable and shouldn’t have to filter what you say. FB and the offline world are places meant for filters. 🤔 I think this site is a place Where many are their unknown self. Regardless of what you post or comment you’ll earn blocks…so, going on that reason alone on why you don’t wanna talk about something especially something you genuinely would like to be open about isn’t really fair to your experience here. I have many blocks, but I also enjoy this site and post whatever tf I want as a result of that. If they block me for it then we clearly just don’t have similar vibes and if that’s the case I’m cool with it. 🤷‍♀️ The ones I do have similar vibes with chill on the post and enjoy the post and we’re able to connect more in that way.
@Stark makes sense. I mean my stories are my stories 🤷 if anybody wants to block me for that, then so be it. They're lucky they didn't have to live my life I suppose... So that's why they don't understand. But thanks 🤗
I didn’t read the whole thing, but yeah. This is your platform to discuss anything you need and want to let out. That’s how I look at things, and that’s basically what my profile is all about. I just post whatever the fuk comes to my mind. Think a lot of people on here appreciate that about me the most regardless how crazy I can be. I’m just having fun because who the hell wants to be an adult all the time. I am an honest person and I keep it real, thats what people like. Don’t be that person who’s just gonna follow others to be popular. NO! go out and do your own thing here. It’s beautiful when people can just be themselves
@TurtleEclipseOfTheHeart I don't even know what you're saying with that but ok
@ChiefWalksWith40oz It literally just says “no” 👁👄👁
SW-User
Oh I stopped giving a flying fuck about what people on here think of my stories. I’ve had a full on mental breakdown on here. I think you just have to know that not everyone will like what you have to say, but so what, why is their opinion important? Everyone has a past and nobody is perfect. I always go for the brutally honest approach, if people don’t like me it’s cool, just means we were never going to have a friendship anyway. Just do you
@SW-User you're a great person & so funny 😅 I can't imagine why anyone would hate on you but this is SW after all so I can't be surprised. But yeah.. guess I'ma have to just get realer around here & piss people off 😂
SW-User
@ChiefWalksWith40oz oh there are some people on here that hate everyone, you’ve just got to not take it personally. I’m just here for the banter 😂
SinlessOnslaught · 26-30, M
It disappoints me that people's hate prevents me from getting to know you better.

You can tell me anything. One lady on here told me that she abuses her kid. I didn't judge her, I heavily encouraged her to get help. Once I saw that she wasn't willing to, I called the police. But that was after giving her a chance and because it was an active situation.

So if you ever want to talk about something, just tell me.

This site is funny like that isn't it.
Even though it is anonymous so that you can openly share stories like what you are apprehensive about sharing.
Your real name isn't Chief walks with 40 oz. I don't know your real name or your address or your PIN number or even your phone number. But yet you still feel protective of what people think of your anonymous profile.
I can laugh at you with both hands on my belly and tears coming out of my face and maybe even a little snack out of my nose because I do the same thing.
This stupid ass profile might as well have my name and address on it because I treat it just the same.
And here you are not supposed to care if someone agrees with you but yet we do.
This place isn't a popularity contest yet we treat it as such just like we do in real life.
There's a very prolific lesson that I am sure could hold some philosophical one hand clapping type clarity.
I don't know that answer. But I do find it humorous that more people feel this way than just myself.
I was told I don't share enough stories on here and that people would find them interesting.
I mostly share all of my stuff in the comments of someone else's post. I guess that isn't really fair to the rest of the people that may be interested if they don't happen along the other post.
So any long-winded way I am trying to say share the story and see what happens and who cares if anti-gunners attack you.
We can't please all of the people all of the time and we are not all everyone's cup of tea. But we should feel free to express ourselves especially here.
Okay I just really want to hear the story about you shooting someone. LOL
@Dainbramadge yeah it's definitely weird. I write more about my life here than I do anywhere else because it's anonymous... but at the same time I still am always real self on here 🤷 so its a funny mix 😂 I do notice I see your comments way more than I see you posting 🤔 maybe you should post stories more if you feel like putting that out there.. but for the most part it seems you tell your stories to people you know will relate. Which is still a good thing nonetheless.

But yeah I might still post the story I was talking about here 😅 I already wrote it, it's saved in my drafts. Just haven't posted it yet
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@ChiefWalksWith40oz I am going to start sharing more stories.
Another user told me that as well.
Said it was interesting the way I was just bumbling through life and had accumulated some unique experiences. LOL

If you only live your life a certain way for fear of being judged, then are you really living? Have you just not made yourself submissive to anyone who disagrees with what you think or like. Where is the freedom or joy in living only to not bother others?

I own guns, lots of them. Grew up with them and an adoptive father that was a Marine. He taught me how to shoot, stab, throw a knife, fight. All good things for someone to know, especially now. The fact that you chose to become proficient with your gun, train, and get certified says all I need to know about your character and demeanor. Having guns does not make you a gun nut. Honestly gun nuts in my view are the ones running around calling other people gun nuts. It is your right in this country to have one, and you have chosen to accept that awesome right and responsibility in the absolute best way. Kudos.
@TexChik good points. I don't really live to please anyone but at times I do notice I avoid the touchier subjects because I don't wanna be hated.
I'm glad you learned any of that & feel very comfortable with it. All of that stuff I had I to teach myself so in the beginning I was slightly nervous. Which is another reason I wanted to be trained & have my license. Because that helped me with all the things I didn't know & I became familiar with the tools instead of fearing them. But thank you for commenting.
TexChik · F
@ChiefWalksWith40oz There are training courses....Dare I say the NRA has videos on their website. Law abiding gun ownership is a strength. Still , worrying about being hated by anti gunners is a moot point . They already hate you sight unseen. Relax😉
@TexChik very true 😂 the ones who hate will kinda hate no matter what. I understand it honestly.. but I'd rather not argue with them lol
NotJamieM · 46-50, M
I'm glad you made it out of that situation. You have a really cool way of expressing yourself and I feel like I either learn something and/or just enjoy reading your thoughts. Including adding to the "useless but interesting information" we both like to collect. It's too bad that you (and me, and many others) feel hesitant to always be open because of those who come here to judge and argue. Funny, on this particular topic, I think I'm right there in the middle with you, except that I'm one who doesn't own guns - mainly because I don't have any training or expertise with them. But I couldn't have written my own thoughts on the subject better than you just did, lol.
@NotJamieM thanks man. I always like writing my stories because I feel like I learned a lot from them & I like people being able to understand why I think certain things. Plus my life's been different than most people here, so I used to feel like I didn't fit in here.. but now I like being able to bring something different to the table here
NotJamieM · 46-50, M
@ChiefWalksWith40oz I learn the most from people who are totally different from me. That's one reason I enjoy your stories so much. I think even if you were saying something I disagreed with, we'd have a mutually respectful dialogue and have some fun with it. We might not change each other's minds, but we'd learn from each other and appreciate each others' point of view. There should be more of that on here than there is.
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
Don’t talk about guns 🤣 unless you get the uppity pussy ass soft ass foreigners some tissues first and a tampon to shove up their ass
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
And I agree with you guns really need to be more regulated somehow, it’s too easy to get guns in this country. I don’t think we should ban them tho. Too many unregistered currently in circulation

@DeluxedEdition
@DeluxedEdition way too easy.. I know a website that's like Craigslist for guns. You go on, meet up with somebody & buy their gun. All legal but super sketchy if you ask me.
& It's not like there's limited options... Noooo. People are posting new guns & selling them every couple seconds. It's extremely active on that page
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
I’m just kidding please tell the story and don’t worry about them. They’re so miserable and hateful they find any reason to hate america

I genuinely think they’re so angry about their living situation in their country that they project it onto Americans

All we ever did was run a bomb ass country that you all want shit from when shit gets hard 🤧
@DeluxedEdition yeah I see Americans get hated almost as much as I see men get hated here on SW 😅 but it's okay. I'm not hurt. People don't always understand a life they didn't have to live.

Don't be afraid to open but also be prepared some people on here don't hold back on their opinions be ready for it, but don't also let it get under your skin. There is always going to be that someone who gets a little too passionate about it or someone crazy just do you but have a limit on yourself
@Nutshell29 ooh for sure. People love to voice their opinion on things & attack when they see something they don't agree with. I don't usually take it personal but yeah I don't try putting myself out there to get attacked easily lol
Nutshell29 · 26-30, F
@ChiefWalksWith40oz that's good and you have a good head on your shoulders too so I don't worry about you at all you're very strong
Jessmari · 41-45
I think this site could use a few more middle of the road posts.
Starcrossed · 41-45, F
I care less and less about how people judge me. I'd love to see your story. But I'm also a down the middle pro gun ownership with regulations/licensing.
@Starcrossed posting this helped me care a little less too. I'll share my story later.. I'll probably get some judgement but oh well.
& Yeah I don't talk politics & stuff.. but I do think stricter regulations would help a lot. For one, like mental evaluations every year even after you own one 🤷 if there's kids or anybody untrained in the home, it should be locked up with no access to anyone else.

& That last one I mention because I remember being at my friend's house & we played with his dad's loaded guns right out his closet. We were only 11 or 12. Definitely wrong on my part.. but when I think about that I think about how we shouldn't have even had access that easily
Starcrossed · 41-45, F
@ChiefWalksWith40oz oh I shudder to think of the accident that could've happened when I was coming up. Dad kept his guns unlocked in a drawer. Our 'gun safety' was "DO NOT GO IN THERE, KIDS!" 🙄
But we were also educated to not play with guns from earlier than I can remember. Not all gun owners do that with their kids.
I was actually very anti gun in my childhood / teen years, and grew not to fear them in my 20s.
@Starcrossed yeah they definitely should be more locked up inside of a home with any children. They're naturally curious & I wouldn't ever fault then for getting into things they're not supposed to.. I'd fault the parent for allowing it to be accessible or not being open & teaching the real dangers of it.
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
Be yourself. The ones who don't like it will remove themselves. 👋🏻
I really love your posts. I'm not a fan of guns at all, but I'm not going to judge you for your past or having to defend yourself.
@DearAmbellina2113 i suppose if anyone removes themselves it's not really a loss anyway 🤷 but yeah I just don't like bothering people 😂 but thank you 🙏
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
There are so many of us from outside the USA who don’t understand the whole owning guns thing.
@Jenny1234 yeah I see that a lot. I've been shot at multiple times in my life & even though I'd rather not use a gun.. there's so many people who don't care & WILL use it.
In my mind, I feel like I need a gun due to things I've been through. I feel at risk of being killed when I don't have it, which is kinda sad that there's people like me who have to feel that way. If guns were better regulated.. kept out of peoples hands until they have tons of training & a license.. then I would feel so much safer. Many people would.

In America we have to fear getting shot on a regular basis.. I've even had cops aim guns at me over a traffic stop. A friend of mine just got shot in her back last week while she was grocery shopping. She wasn't even the target. She just got hit. Luckily she's alive but it's sad & ridiculous how much we have to fear
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
@ChiefWalksWith40oz that’s a very sad way to have to live
AuRevoir · 36-40, M
Is this post a cry for help? 👀☕️ You’re talking about shooting guns and then it’s categorized under “self” 👀👀👀👀👀
@AuRevoir haha nah man 😂 I titled it under self because idk what to put it under lol
SW-User
I’m invested tho, so what happened? 👀 Also happy that you’re still alive!
@SW-User I think I'll write the story tonight lol.. I might get hate for it but it seems there are people who will understand.
& Thank you 😌

Geez 🙄 you’d think life on the “streets” would come with “street smarts or at least “streetwise” behavior. Not that I actually believe any of this. But I’m sure that you’re not the first person to make light of their criminal activities on a public forum.

I am really glad you are still alive and I commend you for sharing this. I am happy that you decided to get out of that life because who knows how long you would have lasted.

I am glad you have taken training on how to use a gun. I have pretty liberal views on guns but I really appreciate the extra time you have taken to know how to use them.
@iamonfire696 idk how I even lasted half the time in the first place 😅 I've had so many friends go down. Either dead or locked up.. & I almost feel guilty for being okay. Because I don't think I deserve it.. I'm just lucky.
But thank you. I took training because it felt safer & I know most people don't take the training. Especially with my background, I find it's beneficial for me to know what I'm doing
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@ChiefWalksWith40oz I am sorry about your friends but clearly there was a reason for you not to end up dead or in jail. Don’t feel guilty, feel lucky for a second chance.

Just write it with a qualifier that you're not inviting debate

Cos it sounds really interesting, and it would be a pity for us to miss out on it

Same man. I don't post shit I survived because shit is too raw. It will get too political and people take things too seriously. I'm just here to have lighthearted fun. Do you man, no judgement on my end. Stay safe
@empanadas well I'd be interested to see stories you have to share 👌 you strike me as someone who's learned a lot & been through a lot even if you don't say it
