So I tell a lot of stories about my life here

But some stories I avoid because of how people might react 😬

Like tbh I wanna tell the story about a shootout I got in that made me walk away from street shit as a whole.
But with all the gun hate here.. it makes me afraid to tell the story because I don't want people to think I'm evil 🥺 I did shoot someone... but he shot at me first & if I didn't have my gun I might've died that night.
I do think the world would be better without guns.. I do think we need to regulate them way more.

I took many classes for mine & have my license for it. Even though where I live thats not even necessary. I did that because I believe it's important. I'm very well trained to the point I can take apart any gun & put it back together no problem. Which is surprising to many people considering my background.

But since I own guns & I'm not afraid to defend myself.. I've received a lot of hate for that in the past.
I also don't side with the "pro-gun" people either. & They typically hate me as well.

I'm a weird "in the middle" type I guess. & The last time I talked about guns on here, I got my first & only blocks from that 😂 so I'm not writing this post to talk guns or argue. I won't engage in any of those comments. I'm just venting about how it sucks I can't write certain things out of fear of being judged 🤷
Which might sound funny considering how open I usually am on here 😂

I care less and less about how people judge me. I'd love to see your story. But I'm also a down the middle pro gun ownership with regulations/licensing.

@Starcrossed posting this helped me care a little less too. I'll share my story later.. I'll probably get some judgement but oh well.
& Yeah I don't talk politics & stuff.. but I do think stricter regulations would help a lot. For one, like mental evaluations every year even after you own one 🤷 if there's kids or anybody untrained in the home, it should be locked up with no access to anyone else.

& That last one I mention because I remember being at my friend's house & we played with his dad's loaded guns right out his closet. We were only 11 or 12. Definitely wrong on my part.. but when I think about that I think about how we shouldn't have even had access that easily

@ChiefJustWalks oh I shudder to think of the accident that could've happened when I was coming up. Dad kept his guns unlocked in a drawer. Our 'gun safety' was "DO NOT GO IN THERE, KIDS!" 🙄
But we were also educated to not play with guns from earlier than I can remember. Not all gun owners do that with their kids.
I was actually very anti gun in my childhood / teen years, and grew not to fear them in my 20s.

@Starcrossed yeah they definitely should be more locked up inside of a home with any children. They're naturally curious & I wouldn't ever fault then for getting into things they're not supposed to.. I'd fault the parent for allowing it to be accessible or not being open & teaching the real dangers of it.
