Okay ... I’m going to have a little moan.

As if it’s not enough isolation because of the pandemic, there has to be below freezing temperatures, and snow to keep me from just taking a walk. This will last to April. 😞 I hope I’m still sane by then. 😞 sigh!

As I drove on the snow covered roads this afternoon this played on the radio. Fits my mood perfectly![youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSfONJYIyGM]

Sounds like you have “cabin fever” too. I will manage as long as the snow and ice are gone, and the temperature rises to 32 F, which is still freezing, but like spring compared to this. @SageWanderer

@Carissimi I’ve had cabin fever since October but not necessarily because of the weather. This round of snow and ice have just added to it.

Why only since last October? I would think for the past two-years, like me, even though I managed better the first year because I thought it would be over in 2021. Going into the third year is much harder. Yes, the snow and ice just add to it. Let’s hope for normal again soon. @SageWanderer

@Carissimi Up to October I could at least escape into the woods for some solitude. Once hunting season commenced I lost that venue. There is more involved but that’s why I feel October was the start of cabin fever.

Ah yes, now I understand. When does the hunting season end? @SageWanderer
SageWanderer · 70-79, M
@Carissimi Pretty much the end of February so March it will be safe again. I could go out on Sunday until then but the spirit hasn’t moved me yet. Considering the gunshots I hear it seems to me that a few hunters are trying to offset the price of meat.
