How many years on average do you think people are together before they get married?

15 months and still together since May 1979

idk if it’s 2 years but it should be at least 2 years of dating before even getting engaged. Year one doesn’t count cause you’re both cute together and everything is new and it’s fun. Year 2 is a better, more real look at that person cause the fun year is out of the way and you drop your guard a bit more. if you can give it more time than that it’s ideal cause even after year 2 some habits really grate on your nerves over the long term.

I married 1.5 years after dating.

2-3 years should be good enough. Varies from couple to couple. Some get married within months and live happily married for life, whilst some get married after years of relationship and end it within months. So, take your sweet time and mutual agreement is the best. Ofcourse, one has to do the honours i.e. propose.🙂

Not married anymore but it was just about two years exactly for me but we already had a baby so it was more of a formality.

We were together for exactly 2 years even tho he asked me to marry him 2 weeks after we met.

In the bible it would say no about that. i think it is when you know the worst about that person and still want to be with them . that is trust.
