Did you ever know someone like this? Visiting you but inspecting for dirt, mess or dust?

Ugh people like this annoy me.

My aunt visited me recently with another aunt and uncle. Anyways I offered them a drink. 2 wanted water the other lime juice.

As a new mum I don't have the time to be meticulous about everything I had left glasses to dry on the drying rack and they dried with splash marks.

They finished their drinks but one aunt in particular used this as an opportunity to:

1) brag about her new bathroom and

2) tell me about how particular she is about splash marks in her glass kitchen that she is constantly in there wiping the marks away.


I just said well I can understand your irritation but I don't think I would have chosen a bathroom that requires so much work.

I stay away from people like those. I won't even acknowledge them. I've been through this.


They need Jesus

My mother was this way
My house was never clean enough
The food I cooked was never good enough
My children were never dressed nice enough
I was never dressed nice enough

Yep, Family, They come over for Christmas dinner. Critique the place, eat $350 worth of food and leave without helping to clean up.

I dont allow people like that into my home
