What book(s) are you currently reading?

The last couple of days, I've been rereading The Body Keeps the Score: Brain, Mind, and Body, in the Healing of Trauma by Van Der Kolk, M.D.. I'd recommend it to anyone dealing with, and finding it difficult to navigate, past trauma and heartache.

I've also recently begin working through a grief journal - not one specifically geared toward death - but to any event that has left you grieving. It is soothing, and I hope productive, too.

In the real world, I keep the hurt and pain quiet and closed within, so these books are a kindness that I do for myself.

That’s great, hope you find them helpful.

I’m on more of a novel kick lately. Love this one a lot, about a woman who served as a nurse in Vietnam.

And this by one of my favorite novelists, about a family in crisis.

@OlderSometimesWiser I saw Hannah's The Women recommended on another site. I need to read it.

Jodi Picoult is always a fine read. Thanks.

@OlderSometimesWiser I liked Mad Honey
@LadyBronte The Women was very special to me for some reason. Stayed with me long after I finished it.

@Jenny1234 I love most of Picoult’s stuff. Only thing with Mad Honey was that I got somewhat bored with the beekeeping minutiae and found myself skipping over it.
