How much ambition is "too much" for you?

I used to think I was super ambitious, but after being around people who are like that 24/7 thanks to going to an elite school, I've realized that I just like to pursue things I'm passionate about, but am definitely not ambitious to the point of being the "best" or wanting to make a lot of money at the expense of my happiness/wellness.
