I Lack Motivation Sometimes

I don't relate much to the people complaining they can't get much done because they have no motivation.
To me there is a lot of things I don't have motivation for, but I do them anyways.
I would love to feel excited to get things done every time I need to get things done, but 60% of the time I don't. And when depression hits 60% turns to 120% but I'm still trying. I can understand when motivation and mental exhaustion is so low that progress is inevitable. That isn't relatively a problem with lack of motivation though, but rather just a need for a moment of self care.
I learned at an early age that I would have to do a lot of things that I don't want to do to get to a place I want to be.
After only sleeping 5 hours, I really don't feel like driving 30 mins out of my way after a working an 8 hour shift w/out breaks to pick up my anti-depressant medicine when I just want to go home and sleep, but I'm going to do it because it helps me in the long run.
I really hate making my bed every morning, but this month I'm crashing at my grandmas at no charge while I'm in between apartments after several crappy situations. Its truly the only thing my grandma really asks of me and I do it every morning even the ones I feel absolutely no motivation.

Same goes for my art. Even when I am uninspired and my creativity is no where to be found, I still draw. I push myself to still create because theres always room for learning and theres always something I can do.

Understandable. You gotta do what you gotta do because it has to get done.
