I made a stupid purchase of a dresser and I'm trying to make it less awful

So I glued back the broken wood pieces of the top drawer, sanded the drawer and applied candle wax to its underside and it made a world of difference, you can even hear it!

The first one is an untreated drawer and the second one is the one I did those things to

It's actually usable now

@SW-User It definitely seemed better in the pictures but also because it looks nice. I didn't think how annoying it is to have drawers without rails lol... but i'm starting to enjoy it now after applying wax to it
